According to US Census from 2009, there are approximately 3.8 million Chinese Americans in the United States. I understand the US Presidential candidates may overlook the Chinese (and Taiwanese) Americans community because we are minority in the bigger picture.
Being a Taiwanese American, I am naturally curious about each contender's opinions on Taiwan-China relation. Given the strong opposing opinions between pro-Independent and pro-Status-Quo groups, each contender's opinions on Taiwan-China relation may be a crucial factor for many people who are concerned about the political tension between Taiwan and China.
Will this concern ever be addressed by Mr. President and the Republican presidential candidates?
